Total to invest $50m to expand retail fuel network in Mozambique

Total plans to increase its petrol stations in Mozambique from 43 to 60 by the end of 2017, according to Mozambican news agency AIM as reported by macauhub.com.mo.

The French oil giant, which recently opened a station in Magoanine in the country’s capital Maputo, aims to consolidate its presence in the country and achieve a 30% share of its service station through a $50-million-dollar investment.

The French oil giant currently operates petrol stations across the country but more than half are in Maputo and Matola region.
