US fuel station cameras register teenage mob attack on man, car with baby

Security cameras of a fuel station in the city of Memphis, United States, recorded a group of teenagers attacking a 35-old-man just because he was escorting a woman who had been afraid to go out back from the payment area to the fuel lane area by herself due to the large number of teenagers hanging out in the fuel station grounds.

The attack, against the man and his car, started even as there was a four-month old baby and the rest of his family inside the man's vehicle being attacked by the mob of about 35-45 teenagers, the report said.

The police has not released information about any plans to try to make the fuel station safe. Witnesses have said such incidents are common as there is a school nearby and such large groups often hang out in the area.

The video of the mid-April incident was allegedly being circulated in Internet where it had become a "viral" or popular site, the report said.
