Trinidad & Tobago gets its 146th fuel station after inauguration of Trincity site

Trinidad & Tobago was just host to the inauguration of what it has become the146th fuel station in the country, according to a report published May 11 by Trinidad Express Newspapers.

Last update:

“Between 2000 and 2014, the number of service stations actually fell from 189 to what it is today. So we actually have fewer service stations than what we had years ago,” said Kevin Ramnarine, the country’s Energy Ministry.

“And that is principally due to the rationalization of the retail network through upgrades and closure of stations due to environmental and economic reasons,” the minister added, according to Trinidad Express.
