Spain: Endesa opens its first CLNG station in Madrid
Spanish gas company Endesa has opened its first public CNG and LNG fuelling station in the Community of Madrid.
Rollán Ojeda, responsible for Transport, Housing and Infrastructure for the regional government, and the General Director of Commercialization for Endesa, Javier Uriarte, inaugurated the new filling station on February 24 in Valdemoro, reports newspaper ABC.
This is the third CNG and LNG fuelling station opened by Endesa in Spain and France. The first was installed in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, while the second opened last year in Lyon, France.
Energy supplier Endesa plans to open more natural gas fuelling stations as it seeks to energize the Spanish market. The company will open two more stations in Zaragoza and Cádiz during the first semester of this year.
