Indonesia: Pertamina to build 108 mini stations

Indonesian oil and gas giant Pertamina plans to build 108 mini gas stations across the country's islands.

Last update:

Pertamina has plans to build over 100 mini gas stations from now until 2020 in order to reduce distribution costs in the face of the one-price fuel policy, reports the Jakarta Post.

Last October, the Indonesian Government implemented regulations that would make the price of fuel similar in all its islands, contrary to the usual disparity that existed between one another.

Of the 108 mini fuel stations that have been announced, 22 will be built this year. These will be able to store 5,000 litres of fuel. The company´s plans state that a further 45 stations will be built in 2018, 29 sites in 2019, and 12 in the last year of the project.
