The app's payment function is activated with bank identifiers and the refuellings will be invoiced on a monthly basis with Neste Private card invoice, states the company release.

"Neste's heavy vehicle stations were the first in Finland to offer cardless refuelling with the Neste Truck+ service back in 2012. We are very excited to be now able to offer mobile payment for consumers as well," says Mika Hyötyläinen, Vice President of Marketing for Marketing & Services at Neste.

The secure, free of charge mobile payment can be used at more than 120 Neste Express, Neste K, and self-service Neste stations, and has a feature that can locate the nearest Neste station.

Initially available in Finnish, the mobile app will also be in other languages such as Latvian, Estonian, and Estonian.
