The new station, equipped with floating dock, flood spot lights, and floating sea barriers and corridors, was built to serve fishermen, boat owners, and motorists, according to a company release.

The station has two islands located in-land and one marine island and three pumps dispensing fuels such as E-Plus 91, Special 95, and green diesel available 24 hours.

“We will remain focused on executing our expansion plans through increasing the number of service stations across all emirates – on a need-to basis. We aim to take the total number of service stations to 460 by end-2017, including 22 new stations that will officially be launched before the close of this year,” said Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution.
