Qatar: WOQOD opens new petrol station in Baaya

The Qatari retailer has opened three sites in the last week.

As part of WOQOD's ongoing expansion plans to be able to serve every area in Qatar, Qatar Fuel "WOQOD" opened Baaya Petrol Station on Thursday.

WOQOD has raised its network of petrol stations to 97. On Wednesday, the Qatari retailer opened another two sites.

"We are pleased to open new fixed petrol station in Baaya. WOQOD aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort,” said WOQOD's Managing Director & CEO, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi.

Baaya petrol station will offer round-the-clock services to residents, and include Sidra convenience store, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Al Muhannadi added that WOQOD is currently overseeing the opening of 15 new petrol stations with most of them expected to open in the first quarter of year 2020.
