Lebanon: MEDCO introduces disinfecting services for cars

Reacting to the Covid-19 pandemic, MEDCO launches a new service to sanitize cars and vans.

Fuel retailer MEDCO has rolled out a new service to help sanitize cars and vans that must operate during the coronavirus crisis. The Lebanese company has opened 9 disinfecting stations so far.

“Some people and essential professions and businesses need to be out, exposing themselves to bacteria and germs that can follow them back into their cars. We want to protect people on the move,” said the retailer in a press release.

The service consists of a full sanitization of the car – handles, buttons, steering wheel, gear shifts, car seats, cup holders and back of the car. The cleaning personnel are fully equipped and protected.

“MEDCO is committed to look out for its community and engage to raise awareness, ensure driver’s and passengers' safety and contain the spread of Covid-19,” added the release.
