Spain: Carrefour extends delivery with Glovo to its c-stores in Cepsa gas stations

The first phase of the renewed collaboration with Glovo for home delivery comprises 150 small convenience stores at petrol stations.

Carrefour has extended its partnership with Glovo for home delivery to Carrefour Express supermarkets located in Cepsa service stations.

The objective of this initiative is "to satisfy the needs of its customers and improve their shopping experience by offering fast and innovative [delivery] services," according to Carrefour.

This partneship also allows Glovo to extend its territorial presence and its online catalogue, as users will now have more options to make their purchases online.

In December 2019, Carrefour and Glovo announced an agreement to launch home delivery of products in less than 30 minutes, seven days a week. Users can choose from a range of 2,500 fresh products, including supermarket basics and items related to health, beauty and household cleaning.This partnership has so far been rolled out in eleven cities on the Spanish mainland: Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Valladolid, Palma, Granada, San Sebastian, Cordoba, Alicante, Seville and Valencia.
