Argentina: Gulf opens new gas station in Banfield

Gulf started operating in Argentina last year and currently runs 54 sites in the country.

Gulf continues growing in Argentina with the opening of a new fuel station in Banfield, Province of Buenos Aires, reports surtidores.com.ar. The Banfield location is the third Gulf opens in the busy south corridor of Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue, adding to the gas stations located in Avellaneda and Burzaco.

"In this context of pandemic and quarantine, work becomes more complex, yet we didn't stop - we focused on getting the permits and doing all the necessary paperwork to move forward," said Eduardo Torras, General Manager of DeltaPatagonia, Gulf's licensee in Argentina.

Gulf plans to open its next fuel stations in Alejo Ledesdma, Province of Córdoba, and in Laferrere, Province of Buenos Aires.

Gulf started its activity in Argentina at the beginning of 2019 and currently operates 54 fuel stations in the country. The company is present in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Province of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, Córdoba, Santiago del Estero, San Juan and Mendoza, among others.
