Nine Japanese industry leaders are joining forces to launch the Japan Hydrogen Association (JH2A), a new alliance that will promote the formation of a hydrogen supply chain and global partnerships in the hydrogen sector. The preparatory committee aims to establish the new organization at the beginning of December.
JH2A’s partners include ENEOS, Iwatani, Kawasaki, Kobe Steel, MITSUI, Sumitomo, Kansai Electric, Toshiba, and Toyota.
JH2A will create plans on providing functions to promote initiatives, coordinate with external stakeholders, and conduct research.
Its main scope of activities will cover engaging in cross-sectoral initiatives to establish the hydrogen value chain, accelerating developments toward social implementation, and promoting the establishment of systems for the supply of funds with financial institutions.
