30 OKKO filling stations have installed clothing donation bins for collecting second-hand items.

Last update:

OKKO collected in the third quarter of this year more than 109 tons of donated clothes through its network of filling stations in Ukraine. The company reported that in total 286.5 tons of second-hand clothes were collected this year at the charity bins located at its sites.

"The amount of clothes donated and collected is growing every year, and 2020 has already experienced a significant rise thanks to an increase in the number of containers available throughout the country,” says Okko’s Head of Corporate Communications, Yaroslaw Polyakov.

Currently, 30 OKKO filling stations have installed clothing donation bins for collecting second-hand items: nine in Kyiv and Lviv, four in the Dnieper, and two containers each in Odesa, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Zaporizhia.

OKKO has been running used clothes collection campaigns in its network of filling stations in Ukraine for eight years in a row. OKKO's partners in this project are "Emmaus-Osel", "Ukraine without Borders", "Good Samaritan" and "We Help".

OKKO fuel station network (Galnaftogaz Concern) is part of the OKKO Group and is one of the largest filling networks in Ukraine, with about 400 filling facilities. OKKO also operates the largest network of on-road catering establishments under the brands Hot café, A la minute, Pasta Mia and Meiwei.
