Oklahoma-based convenience store chain QuikTrip reached a milestone with the opening of its 900th store in the United States. QuikTrip’s most recent location was launched in Corsicana, Texas, just south of Dallas.

QuikTrip’s 900th store milestone is taking place just two years after the company celebrated its 800th store opening in the San Antonio metro, in 2019.

With more than $11 billion in revenue, Quiktrip’s footprint has grown in its 63-year history from a single grocery store in the town of Tulsa to its current offering and geographical coverage across 12 states. The company is planning to embark into four more states—Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, and Colorado—within the next year.

“We are proud of the strategic progress QT has made over the course of our 63-year history,” said QuikTrip Marketing Director, Steve Wilson, in a press release. “To think back on this small grocery store that was started decades ago and look at where we are now opening our 900th sophisticated convenience store is truly humbling.”
