EG Australia has signed a new partnership with the Royal Automobile Association (RAA) to offer its members an exclusive fuel discount at their service stations. Driver will get discounted four cents for every liter they refuel at branded sites.

As the local news site c-store.com reported, RAA members will hae to show their membership card when refueling to claim the discount. In total, there are 36 EG and Caltex Woolworths stores participating across South Australia and in Broken Hill.

“There are over 780,000 members and if each member filled once a week that’s over $70m in fuel savings a year, across all members. The Easter school holidays are known for their mild weather and are a peak camping and traveling period. It’s been a hard year for so many, so any savings are welcome,” said Poh Lee, Head of Business to Business Fuel Sales at EG Australia.

The special promotion started on the 14th of February and will run until after the Easter school holiday period, which is due on the 25th of April. Customers won’t have to make any additional purchases to claim the discount.

“Our members are already saving around $30 each month through the real-time fuel pricing feature on our myRAA app, so we’re pleased to be offering yet another opportunity for members to save on fuel costs,” added Ian Stone, Managing Director of RAA.

The platform will also have an interactive map that shows all fuel sites and stores that offer the discount to members.
