English Español PKN Orlen acquires 25 stations in Slovakia

The Polish energy company become the 5th largest player in the Slovakian market with the acquisition.

PKN Orlen has signed an agreement to acquire 25 petrol stations in Slovakia, doubling the size of its network.

With this acquisition PKN Orlen becomes one of the top 5 largest players, holding a 15% share in the Slovak wholesale market, the company’s CEO Daniel Obajtek announced on Twitter.

According to the post, the number of Orlen stations in Slovakia will increase to 47, with the new sites operating under the brand Orlen Express.

The ORLEN Group operates Central and Eastern Europe’s largest chain of over 2,840 service stations, located in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Lithuania.
