Ballenoil has announced the opening of 26 new service stations in Madrid in the next few months with an investment of €13 million. The inaugurations are part of the fuel retailer to open a total of 90 new locations in Spain throughout the next three years.

According to a report by local news site 20 Minutos, the company stated that six of the new forecourts will be installed in the capital while the remaining twenty will be located throughout different centres of the autonomous community. Currently, the brand has a total of 56 stations located in the city and this expansion will enlarge its network up to 82 sites.

"Madrid is the region where we have the largest number of gas stations and these new openings consolidate the role we have been playing for years. The customer experience is so positive that they keep us as the gas station of reference, and the confidence of the drivers is an essential pillar for us", said a spokesperson from the firm, according to the local media.

These new openings are part of Ballenoil’s plans for expansion to strengthen its footprint across the country and offer low-cost services to drivers. During the first quarter of 2022, the company has seen an increase in its refuelling services by 71% compared to the same period last year.
