PowerGo has opened the fastest charging location in Denmark alongside the Danish Road Directorate.

Located in Haderup, PowerGo has installed eight fast charging points for electric vehicles (EV) as part of the company’s roll-out of a large public charging network throughout Denmark.

Each of the four chargers can deliver 480 kW, with a maximum output of 240 kW per charging point. This means that each charger allows two EVs to charge simultaneously with 240 kW.  The fast chargers are equipped with LCD screens, where users can easily access information about charging and payment.

This new location is part of the roll-out of a well-developed charging infrastructure in Denmark, adopted with the “Infrastructure Plan 2035”. The Danish Road Directorate has issued a tender for this purpose, which is one of the seventeen tenders that PowerGo won in Denmark.

“We will install around 1600 public charging points for electric vehicles in the country over the next two years, making a big contribution to the roll-out of the Danish charging network,” said Anders Vigen, Project Manager for Denmark at PowerGo.

The PowerGo chargers allow EV drivers to charge with 100% certified renewable energy. The company uses Spirii’s EV charging platform to deploy, manage, and operate the charging points.
