The retailer has finished its first transformation after taking over the brand’s retail network last year.

Maverik has unveiled the first rebranding of a Kum & Go store after acquiring the chain’s operations last year.

Located in Draper, Utah, the outlet now showcases Maverik’s brand at its storefront and service station canopy. The company shared the announcement through its social media alongside several pictures of the site’s outdoor and interior look.

“We are excited to open another store to reach even more MavFans,” the company said on LinkedIn. “To celebrate this Grand Opening, Adventure Club customers can grab exclusive deals on Snapple, Snickers, Celsius, F’REAL, Coca-Cola, BodyArmor and MORE!”

Maverik purchased Kum & Go back in April of 2023, expanding its footprint up to 800 locations across 20 states. The company decided to undergo a rebranding of the acquired stores in September, a process that will take several months to complete.

Although at first Kum & Go stores across four states will undergo this transformation, the firm and its parent company, FJ Management, will decide on the brand’s future across the US.

The refurbished site sports a modern look, since Kum & Go opened it in December 2022, as its 12th Utah location of a planned 30 stores to be established across the state.
