Petrol Plzeň is now part of the NRG GROUP

The Czech company has acquired the fuel and lubricant distributor to expand its scope across Europe.

The NRG Group is returning to the fuel market after acquiring Petrol Plzeň, fuel and lubricant distributor, at the beginning of February.

Petrol Plzeň was founded in 1993 and currently supplies its customers with fuel and other operating materials such as lubricants and AdBlue, mainly in western Bohemia. After a long and successful growth,the former owners have accepted the offer to become part of the NRG Group.

“Through it, NRG is returning to the fuel market after many years and expanding its scope from energy fuels to transport fuels. Thanks to this we can take full advantage of the synergies that come by combining fuel distribution with transportation," says Richard Richtermoc, Chairman of the Board of NRG Group a.s.

NRG wants to build on the values and vision that Petrol Plzeň has long promoted and at the same time, based on its experience and knowledge, ensure the firm's further development in the wholesale fuel market. NRG is a purely Czech group that develops its business activities in the energy sector in the Czech Republic and Germany.
