Functionality of Fuel & Go

Pre-autorisation

The petrol station is selected by the customer in app after entering the forecourt. This can be done either by selecting the corresponding site out of a list of petrol stations in nearby or by choosing the petrol station out of a geographical map. The customer selects the respective pump which starts the pre-autorisation and the fuelling point is reserved – just as the process at an OPT!

Fuelling

The fuelling is done as usual. The smartphone remains in the car, as it is not used after fuelling anymore. The customer can stick to the used processes and potential conflicts caused by smartphones in use at the pump are avoided.

Settlement

After fuelling the settlement is done automatically in the background by the Fuel & Go system. The customer receives an email with the invoice and is of course able to recall all transactions very easily in the smartphone app. All settlement processes remain the same for the petrol station: TMS 30 retains the power over all settlement data. Fuel & Go is highlighted as additional payment method.
