Total opens 600th station in Pakistan

Total PARCO Pakistan Limited (TPPL) has inaugurated its 600th gas station in the country.

The new station has the full contemporary look of a Total station. The new opening in Lahore marks the company’s commitment to Pakistan’s growing fuel retailing market, according to the company.

The site was jointly inaugurated by TPPL senior management represented by TPPL CEO Olivier Marc Sabrie and Paul Crane, Vice President Retail & Logistics, Total Marketing & Services – Asia Pacific & Middle East and service station dealer Tahir Mahmood Butt, reports The News.

With the new opening TPPL becomes the joint third biggest retailer in Pakistan along with Attock Oil. State-owned  Pakistan State Oil currently has the biggest forecourt network in the country with around 3,500 sites. Shell Pakistan holds second place with more than 780 sites, representing a 15% market share.
