New feature DoubleDash will allow consumers to bundle items from different businesses together into a single transaction, with no extra delivery fees or order minimum.

On-demand delivery startup DoorDash is launching a new feature, DoubleDash, that will allow consumers to bundle items from different businesses together into a single transaction, according to a company’s blog post.

With DoubleDash, users can add convenience stores’ items to their original restaurant order, and checkout in a single payment with no extra delivery fees or order minimum. Theoretically, orders from c-stores and restaurants will arrive together with the same Dasher. However, DoorDash notes that “deliveries may arrive separately.”

Currently, DoubleDash is active for convenience stores chains 7-Eleven, Walgreens, Wawa, or QuickChek. The service is also available for orders made through DoorDash’s DashMart convenience store operation.

In select markets, the company is also piloting DoubleDash with local restaurants where consumers will have the option of adding complementary items from nearby local restaurants to their initial meal order. In addition to the United States, DoorDash is also introducing DoubleDash in Canada.
