Fuel shortages in Mexican region of Aguascalientes cause ‘panic buying’, Excelsior newspaper reports
An apparent lack of enough fuel led consumers in the region of Aguascalientes to make runs to fuel stations to fill-up tanks which caused ‘panic buying’, Excelsior newspaper reported in a late June story signed by Karla Mendez.
Jesus Velazco, an official that works in the industry as a fuel station supervisor, told the newspaper that the region has seen shortages of fuel “in the last months".
About half of the fuel stations had suffered shortages, according to the report.
