Jordan: 10 independent gas stations join the Manaseer Express brand

Jordan's low profit margin fuel retailing market has seen 10 independently-owned service stations adopt the Manaseer Express brand.

Last update:

Through this deal the gas stations, which were already supplied with fuel by Manaseer Oil & Gas, will adopt new logos, gasoline pumps and automated pricing systems, reported Venture Magazine.

All the gas stations will still operate independently but will have to ensure a series of standards set by Manaseer in terms of customer service, cleanliness and safety. The company said the 10 service stations would be subject to monitoring.

Manaseer plans to add a further 50 or 60 independent service stations to its Manaseer Express brand, while it also targets increasing their own network from 45 to 60 by the end of 2016, and reach a 100 by the end of 2020.

Jordan´s low profit margins from marketing fuel pushes service stations into joining large networks, where the costs are reduced and the profit margins are higher.
