English Español DISA debuts as second distributor in Uruguay

Spanish energy company Disa starts operating in the Uruguayan market after obtaining the approval of the competition authorities for the acquisition of Petrobras' energy business, the company reports. Uruguay is the first country where Disa introduces its own brand outside the Spanish market.

Disa starts its activity in Uruguay as the second largest fuel distributor in the country, with a market share of 24% and a network of 88 service stations.

Disa's activity in Uruguay includes fuel distribution, convenience stores, lubricants, liquid fertilisers and aviation, and marine fuels.

Having started its international expansion in 2018, Disa currently operates more than 930 service stations distributed between Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Uruguay. The company is the leading independent and the fourth fuel retailer in Spain and Portugal.
