PetrolPlaza to host panel discussion at UNITI expo 2022

A panel of international experts and PetrolPlaza’s Editor-in-Chief will sit together next week to discuss some of the biggest trends in the fuel retail and c-store industry.

PetrolPlaza will be hosting a panel discussion at UNITI expo 2022, the leading European trade fair for the fuel retail and car wash industry, taking place on May 17 – 19 in Stuttgart, Germany. On Thursday 19 at the International Forum, a panel moderated by Oscar Smith Diamante, Editor-in-Chief of PetrolPlaza, will moderate a roundtable discussion on ‘Trends from around the world.’

By analysing some of the biggest stories we’ve covered in PetrolPlaza over the last year, the moderator will choose a few trends to explore – autonomous shopping, cleaner fuels and stations as service hubs. A panel of international experts formed by Sabine Benoit (Professor, University of Surrey), Lise-Lotte Nordholm (VP, Dover Fueling Solutions) and Martine Thijs (Global Strategic Accounts, ICASA Group) will provide their thoughts and insights on these topics.

The session will be followed by presentations in Spanish on the Mexican and Argentinian markets by the leading service station associations from both countries. Translation in English for both will be available. The previous days of the International Forum will focus on the ‘Future of Mobility: Digitalization & Service Hub’ and ‘Alternative fuels.’
