The retailer started the year by opening five new forecourts across the nation as it seeks to achieve its growth goals.

Last update:

Plenoil has expanded its service station network with the addition of five new locations across Spain. This expansion is in line with the retailer’s ambition to operate a total of 300 sites by 2024.

As regional news site Europapress reported, the firm began the year with five new forecourts alongside 15 new positions to operate them. These new additions to the brand’s portfolio are located in Cádiz, Sevilla, Alicante, Valladolid and Madrid.

"We carefully select our locations, close to urban areas, to bring fuel closer to our customers and prevent them from making unnecessary trips," said José Rodríguez, CEO of Plenoil, in a statement quoted by the media.

These recent openings have extended the firm’s footprint up to 161 locations nationwide. Plenoil aspires to operate a total of 300 service stations by 2024, so more openings are expected during the year as it picks up the pace to achieve its growth goals.

In addition, the brand has been recognized by the Spanish Organization of Consumers and Users as the cheapest gas station network with the largest presence throughout the country.
