WOQOD opens new petrol station and hits 80 sites

The Qatar-based oil company is currently overseeing the implementation of 16 new petrol stations.

The Wholesale Market gas station is spread over an area of 5,700 square meters and has 3 lanes with 9 dispensers that will serve Wholesale Market and its neighbourhood. It offers round-the-clock services to residents, and includes a Sidra convenience store, the sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

“WOQOD has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country”, said WOQOD's CEO, Engr. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi.

WOQOD is currently working on the implementation of 16 new petrol stations, some of these stations are expected to be operational during the current year, noting that there are 9 stations in the bidding phase and 14 stations in the design phase.

“As part of its strategic expansion plan, WOQOD is targeting the achievement of a total of 130 fuel stations by the end of 2020”, announced Al-Muhannadi.
