The company will now be known as Oest Energies and focus on the future of its energy and service station businesses.

Oest Tankstellen GmbH has changed its name into Oest Energies GmbH, marking the beginning of a new phase in the future direction of its energy and service station business.

"Our range of products and services will be expanded and our customers will benefit from new innovative solutions and greater efficiency along the entire value chain," explains Saskia Weegels, Member of the Executive Board and Head of the Energy Trading division.

The new division integrates all areas relating to energy trading and mobility, geared towards future technologies and upcoming challenges. The company’s service stations and the energy trading division will operate on the basis of a holistic strategic approach, placing the customer even more at the center of operations.

"Since 2016, we have not only been able to expand our AVIA service station network to 100 stations, which corresponds to growth of 15%, but also increase sales per service station by 19%. In an intensely competitive environment, this has enabled us to increase total sales by 37%," emphasizes Matthias Pape, Managing Director of OEST ENERGIES GmbH & Co. KG. 

Oest recently celebrated the 70th year anniversary of its partnership with the AVIA fuel retail brand. Since it began back in 1953, the service station network has continued to develop and over the years has opened up new areas of business, including a gantry car wash, self-service wash bays and a spacious bistro area.
