Copec bets on sustainable public transportation

The company is investing in planning and operation platform Optibus, as part of its commitment to promote the energy transition across Chile.

Copec is committed to supporting the sustainability of public transportation and is investing in Optibus, a comprehensive platform for the planning and operation of the sector.

In line with its goal of advancing the energy transition, this investment aims to promote efficiency and sustainability in transportation. The software helps improve bus services and the efficiency of the public transport network, through a solution driven by artificial intelligence and cloud-based optimization algorithms.

Optibus currently has a presence in 5,000 points globally, including the Metropolitan Region, one of the first locations in Latin America to implement it.
