English Español Spain: Repsol and Nissan partner to install EV chargers

Owners of Nissan electric vehicles will be eligible for a 50% discount in the Repsol electric charging network.

Repsol and Nissan have agreed to install 15 EV chargers at petrol stations as part of a wider agreement to promote electric mobility.

In a webinar titled “Reflections on Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles,” the two companies announced plans to expand charging infrastructure across Spain. As part of the agreement all owners of a Nissan EV will enjoy a 50% discount in the Repsol charging network.

Repsol currently has more than 250 charging points in public spaces, including 70 fast chargers, the majority located at service stations. It also operates the first two ultra-fast chargers in Spain and Portugal.

The 15 charge points announced by Nissan and Repsol are guaranteed to have 100% renewable electricity, according to a press release. 

“This partnership with Nissan, one of the leading electric vehicle manufacturers in the world, strengthens our commitment to electric mobility and helps us continue the development of our network of fast charging points for electric vehicles in Spain,” said María Victoria Zingoni, Executive Managing Director of Client and Low-Carbon Generation at Repsol.
